I ordered the artificial Peonies online from Amazon. I chose the Peonies in Light Pink, Dark Pink & Cameo Brown. As you can see there are various colour options to choose from however, I aimed at achieving a very chic & classy look with my colour pallette. I was actually surprised by the quality of the flowers when they arrived. These flowers were big & extremely soft. The petals were all enclosed within the ball-like shape of real peonies - which I thoroughly enjoyed because I was able to open each one individually & manipulate the petals to how I wanted them. The glass vase I used was actually a flower vase we had lying around our house & is only ever used when I purchase fresh flowers (which is hardly ever!) Possibly the reason why I chose the artificial flowers so that they can last forever! I found similar products at Dollar Tree & a gorgeous rectangular shaped vase from Hobby Lobby

Making the Chanel Sticker

I used Circuit Premium Vinyl True Brushed Permanent - black. This finish made the sticker look more solid & genuine compared to the glossy black vinyl I would usually buy. I used Circuit Transfer Paper & Circuit Premium Vinyl in white all purchased from Michaels.

1. Download a good quality Chanel Logo

You can purchase the decal from Etsy.com for $29.71 or with really good google skills - find a non-pixelated image! I downloaded the Chanel logo from Squarespace for free & it came with a border which is what YOU WANT!

2. Upload to Circuit Maker App

Upload the Chanel image to Circuit & select Complex design.

3. Select & Erase

This can get tricky especially with a pixelated image. Use the erase tool & select the background of the sticker because right now we just want the black outline which is the top half of the sticker first. Save as a Cut image.

4. Sizing & Print

Drag the design to your preferred size while keeping in mind the size of your vase. The sticker should not be too large & overpowering. The whole aesthetic of Chanel is delicate & dainty! Keep the size & perspective of your vase in mind!

Finally, add your Black Premium Vinyl to your sticky mat & insert into your Circuit Maker. This is your top layer of your sticker complete & now it is time to finish it off.

5. White Sticker

Depending on the size of your design, I was actually able to simply add a shape & measure it the same size to fit behind the Chanel logo & border. Delete the Chanel logo & only print the square this time. Add your White Premium Vinyl to your sticky mat & place it in your Circuit Maker.

6. Transfer Paper

Remove the black vinyl which does not include the border or the text of the Chanel logo. Place a piece of Transfer paper above this & ensure the text is straight & in place.

7. Final Touches

Begin by placing the white rectangular sticker on your glass vase first. This allows you to see where you would like to place your sticker on your vase & allows for quick changes before the final step. Once that is done, place the transfer paper on your rectangle & align the border of the Chanel Logo with the rectangle. This ensures that your design is neat & straight.

Once I placed my peonies in the finished product, I found that the artificial stems did not look good at all & the glass vase really did not help hide it! I decided to cut a few of the stems off the peonies to fill the vase with loose flowers. I actually really loved how the technique turned out & how it made my vase look full & big.
